If Smarty Jones does what everyone thinks he's going to do tomorrow, win the Belmot and thus the Triple Crown, he will join the Slew as the only TC winner to have been undefeated at the time he won the Crown. But I will always like Seattle Slew the best, just because he was a really incredible horse with a huge heart and a great name. I bet he's going to be looking down from the big paddock in the sky tomorrow and I don't know if he'd want Smarty to win or lose. I guess the only thing I know for sure is he'd really want to be out there running fast and free himself.
