Collateral

I watched this movie last night. Completely implausible plot, full of coincidences that just strained my ability to suspend disbelief (having lived in LA, it's amazing how well they were able to get around so fast and how often the characters happened to run into each other at the opportune moment). It was hard to accept Tom Cruise as the hitman. I think there are other actors who could have played the role more effectively. He's just so vanilla. Having said all this, I did stay interested in the movie and enjoyed seeing familiar scenes of LA.
