Gullible Americans
fall for Nigerian email scams.
How can that be? I get these emails, everyone does, and they are so obviously phony, you have to wonder how anyone could ever be taken in.
To this I say, as with anyone who is ever conned, the answer is greed...
on the part of the victim, that is, thinking that something can be had for nothing. It is hard to feel that sorry for anyone who is duped in this way.

I once got one of those that was written in French. Coincidentally, I knew a lot more French then than I know now.
I think that things like Nigerian diamond scams and Scientology should exist as bear traps for stupid people
