Couple Faked Death With Stolen Corpse
Molly Daniels spent weeks surfing the Internet, gathering information for a bizarre and grisly plot of deception. She learned how to burn a human body beyond recognition. She sought clues on ways to deceive arson investigators, and took meticulous steps to create a new identity for her husband.
Another example of the many creative ways to use the Internet. Apparently it didn't occur to Molly to research moving to another state.

Fire never works as a coverup. Or rather, never as well as you think. If its body disposal, you go for strong acid. Faking a death? It needs to be some sort of accident that would cause a prolonged search for the body, preferably in a place where actually locating a body would be a longshot. The trick is forging evidence that supports it, but the problem that poses is peanuts next to DNA testing. I mean who doesn't know about DNA testing?
How about a huge amount of quicklime and let the whole damn thing dissolve, then wash it down the drain into the sewer.
I think her plan was to have the 80 year old female body pass for her husband...ok, so it wasn't a great plan
