Next Stop Kabul

From Amnesty International:

"Amnesty International, the world recognized watchdog, has strongly opposed the US decision to transfer Afghan detainees from Guantanamo Bay prison to Afghanistan, a press release of the right agency received here Saturday said."

Wait a minute....I thought we were supposed to close Gitmo:

From CBC:

"In its annual human rights report, published Wednesday in London, Amnesty said Guantanamo was a human rights failure. "Guantanamo has become the gulag of our time," Amnesty Secretary General Irene Khan said as she called for the closure of the camp."

So let's see...we should close it down but we shouldn't send the prisoners back to their home countries...which means, I guess, we should transport them to Minneapolis or Buffalo.

There's just no pleasing some people.
